Appointment Expectations

What to Expect During Your Appointments

We want you to feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. Here’s a breakdown of how appointments typically work at our clinic:

Visit 1: New Patient Appointment (60 mins)

During your first appointment, your provider will:

  • Conduct a detailed discussion of your symptoms

  • Review your medical history and any prior lab results or documentation you've shared

This comprehensive evaluation helps us understand your unique health concerns. Based on this discussion, your provider will order lab tests to gain further insights.

Visit 2 (and possibly 3): Lab Review  (30 mins)

Your second (and possibly thrid) appointment will take place once we’ve received your lab results (2-3 weeks after your initial appointment) and focus on reviewing those results:

  • Lab Results Review:
Your provider will walk you through the findings from any standard tests ordered during your first visit.

***Please note: If Specialty Testing (Carroll Food Intolerance or Mold/ Environmental Toxin related testing) is ordered in addition to standard labs, a separate Lab Review appointment will be scheduled to review those results, as they have extensive results and more detailed.***

  • Discussion of Treatment Options:
Depending on your diagnosis and underlying causes, your provider will present possible treatment options. After your appointment your provider will begin to create your Personalized Treatment Plan.

Visit 3 (or 4): Personalized Treatment Plan (30 mins)

This visit is dedicated to putting your personalized treatment plan into action. Your provider will:

  • Present a Custom Treatment Plan:
Based on your health goals and diagnostic findings your provider will provide you with a custom treatment plan. Your plan may include specific non-invasive therapies, dietary changes, exercises, and at-home care strategies.

  • Answer Additional Questions:  After reviewing your Treatment plan, your provider will answer any additional questions you may have regarding your plan.

Ongoing Follow-Ups (15-30 mins)

To support your progress, we’ll continue with follow-up appointments focused on the following:

Please note due to case complexity each follow-up can only accommodate one issue/concern:

  • Monitoring Symptoms & Progress
Adjustments will be made to your plan as needed.

  • Prescription Management
If medications are prescribed, your provider will monitor their effectiveness and modify dosages as necessary.

*Please note our providers only manage medications they prescribe. If you have scripts you’d like to fill from other providers, please establish care with Dr. Maria Reebs for Medication Management.

Other Appointments:

  •  Acute Care: For established patients only- A focused, 15 minute visit for a minor illness or minor concern. If your issue requires more in-depth care, we may schedule a follow-up or refer you as needed. Not intended for assistance with complex illness issues, please book a Health Plan appointment instead.

  • Medication Management: For the management of medication prescribed by providers outside of PCNH. Not intended for Pain Medication Management

What to expect:

    • Initial Medication Management Visit – 60 min: Comprehensive evaluation of medications, history, and treatment goals. Lab orders may be placed if needed.

    • Lab Review Visit – 30 min: Review of recent labs and adjustments to medications if required.

    • Medication Refill Visit – 15 min: For stable patients needing medication continuation without major changes.
