As a doctorally-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP-FNP), Dr. Maria holds the advanced training to diagnose, order and interpret labs, prescribe, and treat patients as a medical provider, and pairs it with a whole-person approach that looks for the underlying drivers of illness. Because she practices integrative health, she is never limited to a single toolset: evidence-based conventional medicine, targeted lab testing, nutrition, and holistic modalities all have a place in her care plans.
Her clinical background spans digestive health, direct inpatient care, surgical oncology, and rehabilitation, with 975 clinical hours across the Portland Metro area caring for patients from newborns through end-of-life palliative care. That breadth is why patients with complex, multi-system concerns, like the hormonal, metabolic, and skin threads that so often run through PCOS, find answers with her rather than another referral.
In her personal life, Dr. Maria deeply enjoys music, gardening, and community development. She is an active member of the Tigard Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Diversity and Community Engagement Committee. As a first-generation American, she grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area with five younger siblings. Russian is her first language, and she is proud to offer integrative women's health care in Russian (ััััะบะพะณะพะฒะพัััะธะน ะฟัะพะฒะฐะนะดะตั). Dr. Maria lives in Tigard with her spouse, Dr. Ben Reebs, their rambunctious preschooler, and their two wily Chow Chows.
